What size cartridge filter is best for a gallon of 25,000 on the pool floor?

We must find a cartridge filter the pool that I can not navigate. Our pool area wetlands and the limits of washing in a wet environment is disastrous for the environment (and not to mention illegal.) Thus, the sand filters and DE, and others, are beyond doubt.

Hmmmm. Well, the cartridge filters come in all sizes. Stuff to consider are the size of the pump, the frequency of cleaning and the replacement cost of the cartridge. Pump size is important because you do not want the filter Undersize. Cartridge filters often work at a rate of 1 gallon per minute per square foot of filter surface. There is some variation, however. Do not buy too small to power the pump. Frequency of cleaning depends on the size of the cartridge. The larger filters require less frequent cleaning. Cleaning the thing is no big deal, but a little embarrassing. Cost of replacement cartridges can vary over scale. Some are less than one hundred dollars. Others are hundreds! Check the replacement cost before purchasing. It's really a good idea to buy a "spare" when you buy the filter. If you do well the dealer will give you a discount on the purchase of replacement cartridge filter. `Having a spare you time to clean the dirty filter in your spare time. Just install the spare tire and clean the dirt later. Moreover, comparing guarantees on the filters. Some are practically nonexistent, others are very generous. (Remember that companies often justify anything that costs money to repair / replace.) respect of the guarantee is a good criterion.
